Grand Bahama hit with 10.6 inches of rain

A tropical cyclone dumped more than 10 inches of rain on Grand Bahama over the weekend, Acting Director of the Bahamas Meteorology Department Jeffrey Simmons said. "Most of the rainfall took place on the islands of Bimini, the Berry Islands, Grand Bahama and Abaco," Simmons said during a press conference on Sunday.
